Congratulations to some of our musicians who attended Area All State festivals in November! Last weekend, three Bobcat musicians participated in the Zone 15 High School Area All State Festival held at Elmira High School. The festival showcased a Modern Band, Mixed Chorus, String Orchestra, and Concert Band, and all were phenomenal! James Hughey (bass 2), Noah Lippert (tenor 1), and Mikayla Olver (soprano 1) all sang with the chorus and had a fantastic time. Congratulations to you three!
On November 7th and 8th, four musicians participated in the Zone 15 Junior High Area All State Festival held at Genessee Valley Central School, featuring Mixed Chorus, Orchestra, and Concert Band. Liyah Derwick (soprano), Elijah Hendricks (bass), and Ryan Richards (bass) all sang with the chorus and Jack Keim (percussion) performed in the band. Congratulations to all four of you!
