Promoting Character Education throughout Hinsdale Central School
PROJECT CARE - Character And Respect From EVERYONE!!
During this school year, the students of the month will be elected by their classmates. The students will be encouraged to vote for the peer who demonstrates the character trait for that month.
Bucket Filler Challenge
When a student is RESPONSIBLE, FAIR, CARING, TRUSTWORTHY, RESPECTFUL and a good CITIZEN that fills our bucket way up!
Students will receive a ticket and a paw from their classroom teacher when they are 'caught' demonstrating our targeted character trait of the month. These tickets will be collected in our Character Education Bucket, and 2 children will be selected to receive prizes each month during our assembly. The paws will PROUDLY be displayed in our hallway. All names will remain in our bucket for the entire school year, so we can fill it right up to the top!! The more often our Bobcats are caught being good, the more chances they have to win an awesome prize that was donated by an organization in our community!
