Outline of Connect 4 Goals:

Create a logistics division that would coordinate making sure the right resources are in the right place at the right times to maximize sharing between districts.

Improve results in all four districts by:

  • Creating an online remedial assistance center.  This center would offer learning tools coupled with real time help through instant messaging and video conferencing.

  • Create common curriculum maps, unit tests, and quarterly assessments 7-12 between all four districts.

  • Aligning scheduling and technology, to offer content specific common planning time across the districts.

Amplify and/or create specialized programming in each of the four districts to enhance career and college readiness and offerings.

  • Maximize technology (Skype, Polycom, and Distance Learning Labs) that would enable a single student to enter a traditional classroom setting electronically.

  • Create a shuttle system that will allow students to travel between the four districts and the BOCES vocational center to participate in specialized programs.

  • Offer a tuition reimbursement for teachers to get additional certification as requested by the district.

  • Grow and develop middle level extracurricular offerings through shared intramural programs for students.
