Athletics
We are excited about beginning another year of sports for our Hinsdale Student Athletes. Throughout the year, if you have questions, please feel free to reach me at my email address, or my phone extension 262. My primary mode of communication this year will be parent square. Each team will have their own group on parent square where I will be posting important information about the season. You will also be required to sign documents through parent square in order to have your child participate in sports.

Important dates for the 2024 - 2025 school year
August 12th – MANDATORY fall sports meeting 6:00pm in the upper gym for anyone planning on participating in a fall sport for the 24-25 school year
August 19th – football may begin official practices
August 20th - School Doctor will be available at Hinsdale for anyone who did not get a physical for fall sports
August 26th – All other Fall sports may begin official practices
August 25th/26th – Midnight Madness Soccer practice. Open to all boys and girls in the soccer program (At Hinsdale under the lights)
September 5th and 6th – Tri – County Soccer tournament. Opening weekend of fall sports games. Girls play on 9/5 and boys play on 9/6 in Hinsdale
September 20 and 21 – Homecoming games and festivities, Dance on Sept 21, Bonfire earlier that week, TBD
September 20 – Fall sports pictures at Hinsdale Central School
October 4 – Homecoming at Cuba-Rushford for Football. Parade and bonfire earlier that week, TBD.
October 19 – Sectionals for Soccer Begin
October 26 – Sectionals for Volleyball Begin
November 18 – Winter Sports Begin
January 8 – Winter Sports Pictures
**February Break** IMPORTANT – Winter sports will still be playing in regular season games over February break. Anyone who normally travels over this break please be advised.
February 21 – Sectionals begin for Basketball
February 24 – Bowling sectionals will begin this week
March 17 – Spring Sports Begin
**April Break** IMPORTANT – April break falls in the middle of the spring sport season this coming year which means there will be games scheduled during this time. Anyone who normally travels over this break, please be advised
April 24 – Spring Sport Pictures
May 19 – Sectionals begin for Spring Sports
June 9 – End of the year Sports Banquet for all 24-25 athletes. 6:00pm in the Lower gym

From the list on the right click Hinsdale
At the top of the page towards the right, click "notify me"
Check the boxes for the sports you want to be notified for
Click continue
There will be a drop down asking you how long before games you wish to be reminded of the game. Select a reminder time frame.
Click continue
Fill out all the info in the boxes
Click Save Settings
We ask that you sign up for this, so when there are last-minute changes to games you are notified immediately.
